2 CONT My paternal grandfather's name is George McGregor Chalmers and was born in 1920, in Aberdeen, Scotland. He is the youngest of 12 children, born to John and Mary Chalmers - my great-grandparents (great-grandpa John originated from the Orkney Islands of Scotland and great-grandma Mary's maiden name was 'Bowes-Lyon'). They immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada when my grandfather George was 2 yrs. old (1922). After serving 5 yrs. overseas as an army veteran in WW2, he married Mary Mehedan in 1947 and had 2 beautiful children; Ron and Patty. They also have 5 wonderful grandchildren; myself (Andrea), Darryl, Ronnie, Derek and Kelly. Great website, "Hello" to all the Chalmers Clans out there!
